Opportunity Scholarship

All North Carolina students are eligible to apply for the Opportunity Scholarship, though funding is based on financial need and awarded until the budget runs out each year. Awards range from approximately $3,000 to $7,000 based on household income, and can be used for tuition and required fees at registered private schools including ILA.

ESA+ Scholarship

Currently Available

North Carolina students with a disability who have an IEP from a NC public school are eligible for the ESA+ Scholarship. The base award is $9,000 annually, with eligible students receiving up to $17,000 for certain designated disabilities. Funds can be used for tuition as well as allowable expenses such as speech therapy, tutoring, and educational technology.

Students can receive both scholarships and combine funding to pay for tuition at ILA.
