Starting in the 2026–2027 school year, Texas will launch its first-ever Education Savings Account (ESA) program, offering families financial support to customize their child’s K–12 education.
Funds can be used for a wide range of educational needs—including private school tuition, and more—and will be distributed in equal payments throughout the year via an account managed by the Texas Comptroller.
